What's Available?
All of our produce, meats, flours, dairy...... are organic, certified to the Canadian Organic standard unless we specify otherwise. An asterisk (*) means the product is from further away than 100 miles.
Salad Greens: romaine lettuce*, living lettuce, living spinach
Root Vegetables: Russet potatoes, red potatoes, red & gold beets, carrots, parsnips, yams, celeriac root, Watermelon radishes, turnips
Onion Family: garlic, white onions, red onions, shallots, green onions*
Other: button mushrooms, red & green cabbage, broccoli*, celery*, cauliflower*, green peppers*, tomatoes *
Fresh Fruit: apples, pears*, oranges*, grapefruit*, bananas*, Kiwis*
Frozen Fruits and Vegetables (local organic): tomatoes, corn, peas, squash, pumpkin, peppers, strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, parsley, cilantro... PLUS - frozen chicken, beef and vegan soup stocks made in our own farm kitchen - all salt free, all organic
Chicken: breasts, thighs, legs, wings
Beef: steaks, tenderloin, stewing meat, ground beef
Pork: boneless chops, tenderloin, ground pork
Dry Goods, Flours, Seeds, Grains
We also stock a range of alternative and organic flours and cereals including: oats, cornmeal, sunflower flour, wheat-free flour mixes, hemp flour, barley ..........
Plus we have organic sugars and syrups, nuts, dried fruits, baking chocolate..... Including the most delicious organic Medjool dates - a perfect healthy snack!!
Dairy
Organic cheeses - swiss*, parmesean*, mozzarella*, cheddar, brie, feta, chevre
Eggs - from our neighbour - Organic Oasis - best organic eggs anywhere
Other dairy - Mapleton yogurts, Hewitt goat butter and sour cream, Harmony milk and Hewitt goat milk (in glass bottles)
If you plan on coming to our markets every second week you can leave a standing dairy order (milk, eggs, yogurts....) so that it is always here for you!
