The following coverage appeared in The Star today and is quickly circulating via Twitter. Small farmers are irate.  It is not enough that the control exerted by consolidated retail by Loblaws and other chains has all but eradicated small farms in Canada.  Now these giants seem to want to take issue with one of the few market channels that small producers have left.
